Eligibility Requirements

1. Gender: Applicants must be female.

2. Education Level: Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

• Be a senior student attending a high school in Wood County, Ohio, and planning to attend Bowling Green State University and pursue studies in business, leadership, entrepreneurship or a related field, or an interest in starting a business.

• Be currently enrolled at Bowling Green State University from Wood County, Ohio, pursuing a degree in business, leadership, entrepreneurship, or a related field, or have an interest in starting a business or currently own their own business.

3. Academic Achievement: A minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required.

4. Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience in school, community, or professional settings.

Award Amount

The scholarship award is a minimum $1,500, provided as a one-time payment to the recipient’s educational institution account.

Application Requirements

1. Completed Application Form: Fill out the provided application form, including all requested details.

2. Resume: Include a current resume highlighting academic achievements, work experience, and leadership roles.

3. Personal Statement: Submit a 500-750 word essay addressing the following prompts:

• Your aspirations in leadership.

• Your vision for empowering other women in leadership.

4. Letters of Recommendation: Provide two letters of recommendation from individuals who can speak to your academic or leadership abilities (e.g., professors, mentors, or employers).

5. Proof of Enrollment: Submit a copy of your acceptance letter or enrollment verification for Bowling Green State University.

6. Transcript: Include an official or unofficial transcript showing your GPA.
